| Comments | Gilbert Run Park is open from March to November. Park closes for the season after the 3rd weekend in November, but walk-in use is permitted - please do not block gates. See the park's web page listed above for hours of operation. Wheatley Lake is a 60 acre freshwater impoundment. Fishing licenses are required for those age 16 years and older. Trailer parking is limited to approximately 12 vehicles, but seldom does the lot fill. Electric motors only - use of gas motors prohibited. Other amenities include: boat rentals, concessions, 5 fishing piers, picnic areas and playground equipment. |
