| Comments | TEMPORARY BLOCKAGE WARNING: As of Nov. 7, 2019, access to the Potomac River from the Pennyfield Boat Ramp via Muddy Branch Creek is blocked by debris on the ramp and a large tree blocking the tunnel entrance under the C&O Canal. The public is advised to seek alternate put in and take out options until the ramp is cleared. An update will be posted to this site at that time. Be aware that clearance under canal aqueduct is 4 feet at high water. |
