CommentsThis site is for non-motorized vessels only. There is an area along the shoreline at the far end of the parking lot that is stabilized with gravel. There is no ramp or access for motorized vessels. The turn around area is limited and the shoreline can be soft. Launch with caution. Water accessible areas of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge are closed to ALL boat traffic from October 1st through March 31st per Maryland DNR Title 08.18.36, Article 8-707 of the annotated code of Maryland.
