DirectionsFrom Dickerson Road (Route 28) head north on Park Mills Road. The entrance to the boat ramp and parking lot are located on the northwest side of Park Mills Road under the bridge. From the Washington, D.C. area take I-270 north toward Rockville and exit at Route 28 west toward Frederick County. Approximately one mile after crossing the Frederick County line you will see the main parking area marked before reaching the Monocacy River Bridge.

CommentsThis site provides access to the Monocacy River and the Monocacy Scenic River Water Trail. The river can be shallow and rocky so only small vessels like jon boats and canoes or kayaks are recommended for use at this site.
