From the NORTH
From the Beltway or other northern points, follow Falls Road south. Lakeside Drive is on the left about one mile after the light at Old Pimlico Road.
From the SOUTH
Follow Falls Road north. Lakeside Drive is one block north of the light at Lake Avenue.

| Comments | Kayaks and canoes are permitted and encouraged on Lake Roland in Robert E. Lee Park. PFDs (life jackets) are always required. The launch area is adjacent to the Lakeside Drive parking lot. Complete boating specific regulations can be found at www.relpnc.org/park-rules-regulations/ Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Trailers and sailboats are not allowed. Visitors boat at their own risk. If the parking lot is full, visitors can drop off their vessels and park at the light rail station parking lot. |
