We encourage everyone to collect amphibian and reptile location data. You can find out how to get involved, as well as other project information, at the main project website.
To add data to the online MARA Database, ask a County Coordinator to create a user account (User ID and Password) for you. County Coordinators are listed in the menu under “Project Contacts.” Once you have this, you’re ready to “Login” and begin using the online database to enter your sightings and track your progress.
However, the online database is NOT a substitute for filling out and sending in your survey forms to your County Coordinator at the end of every field season. Be sure to send in your data forms by the end of December each year.
Data summaries can be viewed by anyone without the need for a user account. Click on the “Project Status” option in the menu to see a summary of the data that has been entered to date.
